Too Many Fempreneurs are Dropping The Ball

Too Many Fempreneurs are Dropping The Ball

Have you ever been to a networking event in Calgary and felt like it was one person after the other hard-selling to you?

Here's what makes our community events different, and why we DO NOT use the word NETWORKING to describe the experience:

We teach Fempreneus how to improve their relationship-based marketing skills and practice them in an environment where HARD SELLING is strongly discouraged.

You may be asking,

"Lyndsie, how the heck are we supposed to make money in our business if we don't sell to an ideal client who is right in front of us?"

It comes down to the difference between SELLING and MARKETING.

In our programs, Vera and I teach women that marketing is a relationship-based experience that never feels forced. Buying from the person feels like a natural next step because you are their ideal client and you like them and trust them to lead you. The first part is REALLY important and where we're seeing too many Fempreneurs dropping the ball:

When a financial transaction occurs within our community, it's because the service provider's website and social channels clearly match what the ideal client/purchaser met in person at one of out events.

Please please please don't drop the ball by expecting people to hire you solely based on the in-person conversation. They will do online research, and that WILL result in you getting a new ideal client if your website and socials match the niche message you shared in person.

I'm going to go on a bit of a rant quickly and then I'll get back to why our events are NOT networking events...

Vera and I have been coming across an alarmingly large number of women who are confused about what step to take next with their marketing. They want to improve their website, but they don't know exactly how to do it or what words to use, so they have stopped posting on social media.

If this is you, please just start posting content that your ideal clients want to hear. You don't have to post super deep or profound information. What you need to post is a quick video about why you started your business and MAKE SURE IT IS A STORY FROM YOUR LIFE. And keep doing that a few times a week.

You know this stuff ladies. It’s not rocket science. Stop buying online programs that promise to make your website message more clear, or courses about how to start a YouTube channel. Just start the YouTube channel and start posting videos. Seriously - it's that simple. Imperfect action will always move the needle forward more than doing nothing.

If you want to learn in a group setting and take these steps with a team and 2 highly experienced business coaches, send us a message. We aren't going to sell you some magical program. We're just going to show you the steps that you need to take CONSIATENTLY that WILL get you more of the right clients.

Back to "networking", if you're sick of getting sold to at networking events, and you want to instead prioritize meaningful conversation with like-minded women who want to get to know you (not just make a sale), sign up and we'll see you at an upcoming event!
