Two Big Challenges I'm Figuring Out

Two Big Challenges I'm Figuring Out

October threw a lot of unexpected stuff at me. I'll share a bit of what happened later in this post, but first - are ya ready for some quick social post ideas? No matter how "off" you feel you can whip any one of these up in 5 minutes or less. These simple posts are my auto-pilot/default mode when life gets heavy...

Quick Social Media Post Idea #1

Post an 8 second video of you working or doing anything with text across it explaining something you have been reminded of lately or are trying to do more often. Click here to see an example.

Quick Social Media Post Idea #2

Talk about something you are grateful for (30-60 second video). Choose one of these 3 options:

  • Grateful for a friend or group of friends… "Shout out to my new Fempreneur Friends that I met at an event last week. I'm so grateful I met y'all!"

  • “Grateful for a place in nature that slows the racing thoughts and helps me remember who I really am and what I love most about being alive.”

  • “Grateful for a kind person or customer service experience that stood out to me and made my day. Here’s what happened…”

*Remember to make it about them by wrapping up your gratitude post with something like, "I hope you will take some time to (make some new friends) or (reconnect with yourself in nature) or (pop into XYZ store to experience their amazing staff).

If you're curious to know about the two big challenges life threw at me recently, click here to watch me explain on YouTube what's changed in my world and how I'm pivoting. I hope those of you who have experienced these things find the videos helpful.

After many years of teaching Fempreneurs how to grow a niche email list, I'm living one of the main reasons why an email list is an essential marketing tool:

MY INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT WENT POOF!
(DISAPPEARED.)

I went from 3200 VERY NICHE followers to 320 semi-niche followers in 1 second.

If we were connected on Instagram, please follow this account: @yyc.fempreneurs.

But what I'd love even more than an Instagram follow is this:

SUBSCRIBE ON YOUTUBE

YouTube is where I'll be sharing my best marketing strategies going forward. Vera reminded me yesterday that last winter when I was living in Mexico I kept saying "I want to focus on building my YouTube channel". Seems like the universe is making sure I do exactly that!
