I discovered the FREE power of social media marketing soon after I was let go from my job at a large international investment firm in 2014.

When I got fired, I didn't have the luxury of staying in bed crying for more than 24 hours. I had to get up, dust myself off and figure out my next move.

I was a single mom, barely able to pay my bills. I was not going to let my son think for even one second that his mom had failed or was giving up.

I started my own financial services company, hired a business coach, started writing a book and experimenting with “social media marketing”.

 
 


Within a year I was running my own boutique financial investment company and was on track to becoming an Author. I had hired a business coach who was 10 years ahead of me and had achieved many things I wanted to do.

I powered through "online marketing" because I had no other choice. I could barely afford my business coach. Posting articles and videos on LinkedIn and YouTube was free.

What I was doing was working. Chapters/Indigo invited me to put my book on their shelf. I was hired to speak at a conference in Maryland, USA. I didn't stop to give it much thought. I didn't try to understand why my LinkedIn followers and email list were growing rapidly. I just kept doing the two things that were working.

I discovered a simple two step formula for attracting the right people on Instagram:

  • Post Consistently on Social Media - a mix of my personal life and sneak peeks into my upcoming book

  • Add Value - I shared money saving and investing tips on social media and offered to share more if they joined my email list

Show up consistently and add value… sounds too simple right?

The 200+ women who I have coached will tell you that my two-step system works.
